Membership Fees and other Important Information

Membership fees are now due. These fees are the main source of income for the club and help pay for lifejackets and other safety equipment, paint, rope, new oars and many other items. Please remember to include last year's fees if you did not pay. No pay - no row!
Membership fees are the same as last year: Adults - £20, Juniors (u18 or in full time education) - £5, Family - £40. Please post cheques to: Beth Leslie, Wilan, South Punds, Levenwick, or pass onto any committee member. Click here for a membership form. This form will open in a new page.

Bigton Rowing Club fleeces and t-shirts will be available to order. Please contact Beth, as above.

Public Liability Insurance - Participants, and parents of under 16's, please note that it has not been possible for the Club to obtain public liability insurance. Safety is our highest priority, but anyone taking part in yoal rowing does so at their own risk. Neither the Club nor the office bearers can accept any liability in the unlikely event of injuries arising. Lifejackets are provided and you will be expected to wear them. Smaller lifejackets have now been obtained for younger members. These are yellow in colour. Please use these jackets for children under 50kg in weight and less than 34" chest. Always ensure ALL safety straps are in place.
